In this role, you will develop 3D models and detailed drawings in Autodesk Inventor, designing the sheet metal enclosures, structures, and assemblies that house Medium Voltage equipment. Managing your design files and revisions in Vault, you will produce fabrication drawings, flat patterns, and BOMs, collaborate with electrical engineers to accommodate the clearances and layouts unique to MV, and provide hands-on support on the factory floor to resolve fit-up and assembly issues. This role is perfect for a Mechanical Designer with strong sheet metal and Inventor skills, looking for varied, complex projects, hands-on development, and a clear path to progress.

The Role:

Developing 3D models and detailed fabrication drawings of Medium Voltage enclosures in Autodesk Inventor. Designing sheet metal enclosures, structures, and assemblies for manufacture, including flat patterns and BOMs. Managing design files and revisions in Vault while collaborating with electrical engineers on MV layouts and clearances. Providing hands-on factory floor support to resolve design, fit-up, and assembly issues.

The Person:
