CAD DESIGNER

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced CAD designer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have:

a Technical Certificate or Associate's Degree in CAD, extensive knowledge of CAD software i.e., Autodesk Inventor/AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks, a strong technical drawing ability, good communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, a good understanding of mathematics, engineering and sheet metal fabrication.

Responsibilities:

Create detailed technical drawings, 2D, 3D models and prototypes. Accurately represent dimensions of materials and other elements using standard G,D&T. Accurately and effectively manage BOMs and Part Files. Work with engineering staff to transform product ideas from prototyping to production manufacturing. Analyze designs for potential improvements. Generate and manage all metal fabrication nesting files. Maintain a clean and well-organized work environment. Effectively work with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
