Job Summary We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Wood Truss Designer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise and efficient wood truss designs that meet client specifications, building codes, and structural requirements. Your expertise will help ensure the successful fabrication and installation of high-quality truss systems, supporting our mission to deliver exceptional building solutions. Duties Develop detailed wood truss designs using advanced CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications. Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to interpret blueprints, schematics, and building plans for custom truss systems. Conduct building code analysis to verify that all designs adhere to local regulations and safety standards. Prepare detailed construction documentation including schematics, assembly instructions, and material lists for manufacturing teams. Review design proposals for structural integrity, system efficiency, and constructability while incorporating feedback from stakeholders. Requirements Proven experience with CAD software. Strong knowledge of construction detail documentation and building code compliance related to wood framing systems. Ability to perform building code analysis and interpret technical schematics accurately. Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate drawings. Effective problem solving and communication skills for collaborating across multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines.

Pay:

$22.00 - $29.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
