Apply directly today to Chaney Cornell at chcornell@actalentservices. com for immediate consideration  A civil engineering consulting firm specializing in municipal water and wastewater infrastructure is seeking a Civil CAD Technician to support the production of construction drawings for public infrastructure projects. This role offers long-term stability within a recession-resistant industry and the opportunity to contribute to essential public systems. The Civil CAD Technician will work closely with engineers and project managers, providing hands-on drafting support using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Produce civil construction drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D Prepare plan sets, profiles, details, and design exhibits Support engineers and project managers throughout the design process Assist with quantity take-offs and design coordination Participate in occasional site visits or field verification, as needed Contribute to a collaborative and team-oriented drafting environment

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience using AutoCAD and Civil 3D in a professional setting Familiarity with civil construction drawings and plan production Exposure to municipal, utility, roadway, or site development projects preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to collaborate within a design team Candidates who value technical variety, intentional career development, and CAD-focused leadership within a stable municipal infrastructure environment are encouraged to inquire. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Southport, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.50 - $45.00/hr.
