Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated CAD Technician to support digital manufacturing initiatives within a production engineering environment. This role focuses on utilizing advanced digital tools and simulation technologies to improve manufacturing processes, support new model introductions, and enhance assembly planning. The ideal candidate will have strong CAD modeling experience, a solid understanding of engineering principles, and hands-on exposure to simulation, 3D printing, and digital manufacturing tools. Key Responsibilities Support project planning activities for upcoming product and model changes. Perform 3D studies, simulations, FEA analysis, layout updates, and assembly management activities. Develop and maintain digital manufacturing environments using industry-standard CAD and simulation tools. Conduct data management and engineering studies to improve manufacturing readiness. Simulate and evaluate CAD models to optimize assembly and production workflows. Collaborate with cross-functional internal and external stakeholders to support engineering initiatives. Utilize 3D printing and 3D scanning technologies for design validation and process improvement. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology, Computer Integrated Technology, CAD, or a related field. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in AutoCAD and at least one of the following: CATIA, SolidWorks, or Inventor. Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing). Strong understanding of drafting techniques and engineering terminology. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook). Knowledge of 3D printing technologies and applications. Understanding of 3D scanning technologies and workflows. Ability to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Preferred Qualifications FEA Certification. CAD Certification. 3D Modeling and Simulation Certifications. Experience with digital manufacturing tools such as Navisworks, Inventor, CATIA, and simulation platforms. Experience creating and managing digital environments for manufacturing simulations. Preferred Experience Heavy experience in 3D modeling, simulation, and digital manufacturing. Experience supporting assembly engineering and manufacturing processes. Recent graduates with strong internship, academic, or project experience in CAD and simulation technologies are encouraged to apply NIT01
