Job Description
Job Title:
Drafter Job Description Our office in Overland Park is looking for a qualified candidate to fill a CAD Drafter position within the Architecture and Engineering (A&E) department. This candidate will be responsible for completing lease exhibits, zoning drawings, and construction drawings. Will be focused on telecom and EV charging station projects. Responsibilities Complete drawings based on client requirements, field sketches, photos, and internet map images. Conduct peer reviews of other designers' drawings as part of a quality control process. Address drawing comments based on redlines from clients, project managers, engineers, and peer reviews. Maintain files and materials in an orderly manner, following company standards. Collaborate effectively as a team player. Essential Skills Proficiency in AutoCAD General office skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel Effective communication and problem-solving skills Additional Skills & Qualifications Certification in CAD Design or an Associate degree in CAD Design is preferred Knowledge of Civil, Steel, or Electrical CAD design is a plus Work Environment The work environment is a cubical setting in the headquarters. The team size is moderate, fostering a collaborative and supportive culture. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00/hr.
