Job Description
The CAD Operator performs a variety of design/drafting activities including the origination of and updates to existing engineered drawings for use in our manufacturing facility. Responsibilities Prepare dimensional drawings, installation drawings, piping diagrams and general arrangement drawings. Revise and update existing drawings reflecting design changes Review blueprints, plans, specifications, and other customer documentation if necessary Serve as an information source on planning and design of equipment and manufactured items Maintain notes, design calculations and other documentation in accordance with the document retention policies set by the Engineering Manager. Other duties as required relating to CAD database Requirements Proficient in Solidworks software platform a MUST Associate's Degree in Mechanical Drafting/CAD Design or equivalent work experience.
