Full Job Description Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized CAD Draftsman to join our team. In this role, you will be working closely with the sales and production teams to create detailed drawings, plans, and blueprints that pertain to roofing and wall panel systems. Your primary responsibilities will involve reviewing plans and creating submittal packages for projects as well as drafting AutoCAD blueprints to machine parts on our inhouse water jet. Typical projects include but are not limited to the following systems: TPO, EPDM, PVC, SBS, Metal Roofing, and Metal Wall Panels.Key Responsibilities:
Proficient in reading and understanding project specifications, plans, and scope of work. High level of knowledge and proficiency using CAD software (AutoCAD) to prepare detailed shop drawings. Ensure drawings are compliant with building regulations and engineering principals. Preparing submittal packages including material and warranty information. Communicating potential design issues to engineers and architects. Visiting project sites to gather information and determine limitations and feasibility of designs.Requirements:
Highly proficient with AutoCAD Computer literacy with Microsoft suite and Adobe Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills Attention to detail Ability to handle multiple projects at a time Self-motivated to deliver tasks on time and maintain workload in a fast-paced environment.
