CAD Technician

Description

• Work with custom programs to create detailed drawings, and when necessary, bills of material to be used in the manufacture and installation of our products.
• Review design information, site plans, and manuals to determine critical dimensions of design.
• Perform calculations to produce design information necessary to create Fabrication drawings.
• Utilize applications such as AutoCAD, Inventor and Excel on a daily basis in completing drawings to meet project deadlines.
• Confer with design staff to determine design requirements, modifications, and issues.
• Efficiently produce accurate drawings for review and approval by design staff.
• Prioritize assigned projects based on date due.
• Coordinate with other team members to accomplish required tasks.
• Submit and review drawings with peers as needed, before design staff review.
• Develop and maintain standard and custom details for all product families.

Ability to read and interpret documents, technical manuals, and engineering concepts. Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures within the engineering field. Ability to accurately read and interpret site plans. Experience Level Entry Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Winchester, KY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
