This position plays a key role in delivering high-quality 2D and 3D structural designs and fabrication drawings for a variety of structural steel projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Engineering and Drafting teams to produce accurate 2D and 3D models and drawings.
- Create detailed fabrication and assembly drawings for structural steel components.
- Develop and maintain 3D models using Tekla Structures and similar software.
- Support project teams with drafting and design services across multiple structural projects.
Required Qualifications:
- 0-3 years of hands-on experience in 3D modeling and structural drafting.
- 0-3 years of experience preparing detailed fabrication and assembly drawings for steel structures.
- Strong proficiency with AutoCAD.
- Two-year Certificate or Diploma in CADD, Engineering Technology, or a related field from an accredited technical school or college.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Trimble Steel Detailing Module / Tekla Structures is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of drilling operations and drilling rigs (a plus).
