Position Summary:

Produces construction drawings, 3D models, maps and reports figures based on engineering designs.

• Assist with preparing drawings for permitting, bidding, and construction
• Ability to prepare and modify plans using Autodesk Civil 3D based on comments from colleagues and clients
• Ability to prepare plan & profile sheets, grading plans, structural details and sections
• Ability to work with a team of engineers, surveyors, designers, and other disciplines

Key Responsibilities:

• Performs drafting activities, including 3D modeling
• Travels to the field when required
• Performs mark-ups on drawings and documents as required

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or higher equivalent and completion of relevant drafting courses
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the Engineering or Construction Industry as a CAD Operator
• Basic knowledge and skill in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Be proficient with current releases of AutoCAD
• Be knowledgeable about 3D software
• Excellent effective communication skills, both written and oral
• Results oriented individual with the drive to effectively complete priorities on time
• Commitment to working in a team environment; understanding there are internal and external customers who are dependent on the quality and timeliness of our output to meet their commitments
