Job Description
We are growing! Advance is seeking a CAD Data Prep Technician who will be responsible for preparing and converting customer supplied data for output to high resolution laser writers that image directly to hard surface and emulsion photoplates and films. The finished photoplates and films will be used to manufacture semiconductor, hybrid, microwave and thin film type devices. Strong knowledge of Autocad software used in an engineering capacity, as well as the ability to interpret CAD drawings and related documentation is required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Evaluate customer requirement and job information to properly prepare data for the manufacturing process by using Autocad and other data editing software programs.
- Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings and related instructional documentation
- Confers with appropriate personnel and customer with technical information
- Responsible for meeting production schedules
- Maintain organizational skills and good housekeeping practices
- Learn new skills when required.
