Kforce has an enterprise client seeking a

CAD TECH

in North Reading, MA.

Summary:

This individual will be responsible for creating and maintaining detailed Robotics floor layouts in AutoCAD across Concept, Firm, and Deployment design phases. Work will require a high level of precision - ensuring proper cell grid alignment, component spacing, resolution of physical interference's (columns, HVAC, expansion joints, fire shutters), and compliance with design checklists and Solutions naming conventions. This role also involves generating deployment deliverables. A successful candidate will be a self-starter who can work with minimal direction, interpret building shell composites and external references, and produce standardized drawing sets that support the global network of robotic sortable fulfillment centers.

REQUIREMENTS

• BS in Engineering is ideal (Industrial and Mechanical)
• 2+ years of operating experience in AutoCAD with ability to work and manage layers
• 2 years of AutoCAD experience
• 1+ years of experience drawing in a warehouse or fulfillment center environment or anything with process flow design
• MS Excel experience (must have Pivots, VLOOKUPs, Calculations cell by cell type of work)
• Program experience C++
• Basic knowledge of material handling and storage systems The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role.

We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
