Header• Duties• Utilize advanced CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software to create detailed 3D models of dental restorations, including crowns, bridges, dentures, and implant-supported prostheses. Collaborate closely with dentists and dental laboratory technicians to interpret clinical impressions, radiographs, and treatment plans for accurate digital design. Prepare and refine digital files for fabrication, ensuring precise fit, function, and aesthetics aligned with patient-specific needs. Operate and maintain dental CAD/CAM equipment, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to infection control protocols. Assist in the finishing and polishing of dental prostheses to meet laboratory standards for quality and durability. Stay updated on the latest advancements in digital dentistry, ceramics, implantology, and laboratory techniques to continually improve design accuracy. Document all design processes meticulously within electronic medical records (EMR systems), maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards. Header• Skills• Expertise in 3D CAD modeling software specific to dentistry such as Exocad, DentalCAD, or similar platforms. Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, prosthodontics, removable prosthodontics, full arch restoration, and implant prosthodontics. Familiarity with dental laboratory techniques including ceramic layering, denture fabrication, and prosthesis finishing. Experience with CAM software integration for custom prosthetic fabrication and implant-supported restorations. Proficient in medical imaging interpretation, medical terminology, and medical coding relevant to dental procedures. Skilled in chairside assisting techniques and understanding of dental equipment operation within a clinical setting. Knowledge of infection control practices, aseptic technique, HIPAA compliance, and medical records management. Ability to assess patient needs through patient assessment skills while understanding vital signs and anatomy knowledge.
