JOB SUMMARY:

This position designs, models, and details capital equipment layouts for the concrete products industry.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1.Works with the field sales team on capital equipment requests. 2.Utilizes SolidWorks/CAD systems for model creation, design, drafting, and detailing of all Besser products. 3.Originates, develops, and updates plant layouts, sales drawings, and foundation, installation and erection drawings for products to meet defined company or customer requirements. 4. Completes required documentation for drawing revisions and releases. 5. Collaborates with sales and service representatives in the field to ensure all equipment specifications are accurate. 6. Assists with incoming customer calls. 7. Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

Associates degree in CAD, a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Experience:

Work experience in drafting, design and SolidWorks/CAD.

Skills:

Strong verbal and written communications skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees, management, and customers. Familiarity of a variety of standard industry concepts, practices, and procedures. Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks applications.

Requirements:

Must be willing to travel.
