Designer. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who combines technical CAD skills with creativity, precision, and an understanding of how products are actually manufactured. In this role, you'll useSOLIDWORKS
to transform measurements, concepts, and customer requirements into detailed 3D models and production-ready drawings. You'll work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to develop custom components, refine designs, and help take products from concept through production. What You'll Be Doing As aSOLIDWORKS
Designer , you'll: Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and production drawings usingSOLIDWORKS
Take precise measurements of components and translate them into accurate CAD designs Turn concepts, sketches, and customer requirements into manufacturable products Develop custom components and product solutions Create and revise drawings, dimensions, specifications, and design documentation Collaborate with engineering, production, and machine shop teams Support prototype development, testing, and product refinement Review designs for manufacturability, fit, function, and quality Identify and resolve design challenges before products reach production Make design revisions based on testing, production feedback, or customer requirements Support custom and one-of-a-kind product development Maintain organized CAD files and design documentation Manage multiple design projects and deadlines Contribute to continuous improvement of design processes and standards Provide hands-on support to production and engineering teams as needed What We're Looking For Successful candidates typically have: 1+ years ofSOLIDWORKS
experience Strong CAD and 3D modeling fundamentals Ability to create detailed drawings and production-ready designs Strong understanding of measurements, dimensions, and tolerances Ability to translate concepts and physical measurements into accurate CAD models Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Excellent mechanical and technical problem-solving skills Ability to visualize how individual components fit and function together Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and take ownership of design projects Willingness to collaborate directly with manufacturing and production teams Preferred Qualifications Depending on your background, experience with the following is a plus: AdvancedSOLIDWORKS

While SOLIDWORKS and CAD design are at the center of the role, you'll also need to understand how the components you design will actually be built, assembled, and used. You'll work closely with manufacturing and engineering teams, take physical measurements, troubleshoot design challenges, and make revisions when something doesn't work exactly as expected. Some projects may be custom or one-of-a-kind, meaning there won't always be an existing design or template to follow.
