  • SUMMARY:
  • Produce working drawings for all areas of manufacturing. Interpret customer drawings and technical sketches and translate them into the company's standard format.
  • ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • include but are not limited to: Design tooling from rough sketches and concepts.
Interpret customer drawings and technical sketches and translate them into the company's technical format. Interpret and apply proper GD&T for all technical documents. Create and modify Operation Control Plans, Tool Information Sheet layouts, tool drawing and floor layout plans. Assist the Quality department in the design and documentation of gaging. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Understand and follow the Quality Management System (QMS) and Environmental Management System (EMS).
  • EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
  • ¨NBSP; At least 6 months of CAD experience or a Solidworks Certification and/or Associate's Degree or higher in Engineering Design.
Ability to remain productive under indirect supervision and follow verbal and written instructions and techniques. Proficient in standard Microsoft Office applications.
