Division6 is a leading commercial millwork company specializing in high-quality casework, cabinetry, and other custom features. Our goal is outstanding craftsmanship while executing timely project delivery. We are looking for an Engineer to join our team and help us deliver excellence to our clients.
Responsibilities:
Use Cabinet Vision to produce submittal quality shop drawings, nesting and material reports, and CNC files Use AutoCAD for shop drawing workflow: submittals, revisions, CAM geometry preparation, and as-built drawing sets Use Autodesk Inventor for 3D parametric modeling, detailed assembly and installation drawings, CAM processing for CNC Develop CNC programs using AlphaCAM as necessary Read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and bid documents Prepare bills of material (BOM), cut lists, and production documentation utilizing TradeSoft - ShopPAK and Microsoft Office products Revise drawings to reflect client design changes and coordination updates Collaborate with Project Managers for scheduling and client coordination Collaborate with the shop team to clarify design intent and support production Manage multiple projects simultaneously Participate in project kick-off meetings to ensure proper transfer of information between departments Apply construction knowledge and hands-on trade experience to improve constructability
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (required) Post-secondary education in drafting/engineering or equivalent experience (preferred) 2+ years professional experience using AutoCAD (required) 2+ years professional experience with Cabinet Vision (required) Experience with CNC programming and nested-based CAM workflows (required) Exposure to Autodesk Inventor [or SolidWorks experience] (preferred) Exposure to TradeSoft - ShopPak (preferred) Commercial millwork or architectural woodworking experience (preferred) Shop or construction experience (preferred)
