CAD Drafter

Job Overview AquaTraction is seeking a detail-oriented drafter to join our manufacturing team. The purpose of this role is to produce accurate and efficient design files that meet the highest quality standards while supporting the fastest turnaround times in the industry. The ideal candidate is a clear communicator who is accountable, organized, and motivated to continuously grow their skill set. Responsibilities Create/process accurate design files that meet AquaTraction's quality and productivity standards. Communicate effectively with dealers to ensure design accuracy with customer needs. Identify and correct design or template inaccuracies to ensure precise fit and function. Assist in training team members on drafting standards, file setup, and best practices. Continuously work to improve individual drafting performance, efficiency, and technical skills. Contribute to department improvement projects and process optimization initiatives. Other duties as assigned by manager Qualifications Ability to work in a fast paced production environment both independently and collaboratively. Must have strong attention to detail. Willingness to develop new skills and continuously improve performance. High level of dependability, with consistent attendance and punctuality. Preferred Experience & Education Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Drafting, Design Technology, or a related field preferred, but not required. Experience with CAD software (such as Rhino or similar) is a plus, but not required. Ability to identify and correct drafting inaccuracies, and assist in training others on proper drafting standards and procedures.
