This role is a great fit for someone with strong AutoCAD skills who can manage multiple design projects independently while working closely with an experienced special hazards team. You'll help take projects from engineering specifications to production-ready drawings, supporting everything from system design and wiring diagrams to AHJ submittals and plan review revisions. What You'll Do Produce detailed CAD drawings and wiring diagrams for special hazards and engineered suppression systems using AutoCAD. Translate engineering specifications and project requirements into accurate, production-ready fixed suppression system drawings. Independently manage multiple suppression system design projects while maintaining project schedules and meeting deadlines. Maintain organized CAD files, drawing documentation, and revision control throughout the design process. Prepare and support AHJ submittal packages, including updates and revisions resulting from plan review. Coordinate with Senior Designers, Division leadership, and other team members to ensure designs meet project requirements. Maintain accuracy and attention to detail across drawings, documentation, and project revisions. What You Need Strong, demonstrated proficiency with AutoCAD. Ability to independently manage multiple projects with limited oversight. General understanding of fire alarm and/or fire suppression systems. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to interpret engineering specifications and translate technical information into accurate system drawings. Valid driver's license. NICET Level I or Level II candidates are encouraged to apply - either level will be considered.
