Chipton-Ross is seeking Designers level 4 to join our team in Pascagoula, MS. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to apply technical design skills in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design components or portions of systems and modify existing designs to improve products and support manufacturing operations. Utilizes computer-aided design equipment and/or graphic tools such as, CAD, CAM or CATIA and MS Office applications to develop and present design proposals. Conduct research, perform calculations, and prepare layouts or sketches to illustrate design concepts. Coordinate design criteria with engineering, manufacturing, tooling, material, and planning teams to ensure alignment with production capabilities, material availability, and contractual specifications. Basic Qualifications (Required): Associate degree or two-year technical degree in a related discipline ; 5+ years work experience High School Diploma/GED; 7-10+ years experience Must possess a full understanding of Marine Design (HVAC, Piping and Machinery) Preferred Qualifications (Desired): Proficiency in AutoCAD and strong general computer skills. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Interest or experience with engineering database tools or systems that integrate and relate data from multiple sources.

Education:

Associate degree or other two-year technical degree in a related field.

Work Schedule:

Full-time (5/40 workweek). 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts available.
