CAD / Takeoff Tech

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented CAD / Takeoff Tech to join our innovative design and construction team. In this role, you will leverage advanced CAD software and takeoff tools to produce precise drawings, models, and material estimates that drive project success. Your expertise will support project planning, system design, and construction documentation, ensuring accuracy and efficiency at every stage. Duties Develop detailed shop drawings using software such as AutoCAD and Glazier Studio. Create accurate takeoff quantities from blueprints and schematics for materials, systems, and components. Quantify and source materials from vendors. Create fabrication drawings, cutlists and CNC programs. Utilize Bluebeam and other digital markup tools to review and annotate construction documents. Conduct quality checks on drawings and models to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to refine designs and resolve technical issues efficiently. Experience Proven experience with CAD software including AutoCAD, and Glazier Stuio / Partner Pak Strong understanding of construction processes and technical drafting standards. Experience in performing takeoffs using Bluebeam or equivalent digital tools for accurate quantity estimation. Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and construction documents with precision. Excellent attention to detail combined with strong communication skills to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams. Pay:

$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
