Job Description

Job description: Gamewell is looking for skilled individuals with Mechanical Design and Building Information Modeling (BIM) experience. Qualified applicants must have 3-5 years minimal Mechanical experience doing layout work of HVAC Ductwork, Pipe, and Plumbing. Chosen individual will be responsible for laying out complex Mechanical and Plumbing systems in pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities and other large manufacturing facilities in the High Tech, Micro-Electronics, Bio-Pharma, Food/Beverage, and Automotive industry.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Working with Autodesk Revit software laying out HVAC Ductwork, Pipe, Plumbing and Hanger supports.
  • Use Autodesk Navisworks to coordinate Mechanical systems with Architectural, Structural, Electrical and Sprinkler pipe within the facility being constructed.
  • Create HVAC Ductwork fabrication drawings and Pre-fabrication Pipe spool drawings for shop fabrication.
  • Create Field Install Drawings that include Plan views, 3D views, Section views with dimensions and elevations.
  • Create mechanical schedules within Revit to generate reports for Project Managers.
  • Create pipe, fitting and Accessories schedule to show on Prefabricated pipe spool drawings.
  • Set-up clash detection within the Autodesk Navis Manage software.
  • Work with Project Mangers to show actual submittal of equipment and material in the Revit model.
  • Participate in project coordination meetings. Interject ideas and resolutions to project related issues that are presented in the meetings.
  • Plant 3D experience preferred Qualified applicants must be capable of reading Blueprints, Riser Diagrams and P&ID's.
Applicants must have moderate to strong knowledge of Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Plant 3D and Navisworks. Job history of HVAC mechanical systems and plumbing design preferred.
