Entry-level CAD/CAM Technician

CAD/CAM Designer - ACM, MCM, and Aluminum Plate Exterior Façade Panels We are seeking a skilled CAD/CAM Designer with experience in ACM, MCM, and aluminum plate exterior façade panels to support the design, drafting, and manufacturing preparation of architectural cladding systems. This role is responsible for preparing panel layouts, elevations, sections, details, fabrication drawings, and CAM-ready files based on project plans and specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience with façade systems, strong CAD and CAM skills, and the ability to develop clear, accurate, and buildable drawing packages that support estimating, production, fabrication, and installation.

Duties:

Prepare CAD drawings and CAM files for ACM, MCM, and aluminum plate façade systems Develop panel layouts, details, shop drawings, fabrication documents, and production-ready files Review plans and specifications to ensure design accuracy and manufacturability Coordinate with project managers, estimators, and production teams Revise drawings and files based on internal review, client comments, and field conditions Identify constructability and production issues and support project execution Report directly to the

Manufacturing and Fabrication Operations Manager Qualifications:

Experience with ACM/MCM/aluminum plate panel systems or related cladding products Proficiency in Auto

CAD, CAM

software , or similar design and manufacturing software Ability to interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and fabrication requirements Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills

Compensation:

Starting at $25.00 per hour , with higher pay based on experience.
