As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a talented and driven Mechanical Technician to join our team. About theRole:
As a Mech/Elec Technician you will install, operate, test and maintain manufacturing equipment, including automated and robotic parts, integral to our solid rocket motor propellant production facilities. You will also own mechanical design from concepts through drawing release for hardware required for site operations and program support. You'll know you're successful in this role when you've identified blockers, guided processes to address anomalies and performance shortfalls, met schedule goals regarding installation, commissioning and deployment of components, sub-assemblies, and top-level facilities. To thrive in this role, you must have demonstrated success in mechanical hardware installation, repair, and selection and/or electrical/instrumentation/controls/data expertise. . An aptitude for hands-on assembly and integration is required and is best shown by your work history and passions when off the clock.Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3+ years' experience with installation/testing/commissioning of mechanical, electrical/controls and fluidic systems/facilities
- Experience servicing pumps, mixers, heat exchangers, ovens, precision flow meters, instrumentation, data acquisition, power supplies, PLC panels, etc.
- Demonstrated expertise with Solidworks CAD and PDM or equivalent
- Experience working in multidisciplinary teams of ~5 engineers/technicians.
- Demonstrated electro/mechanical hands-on dis-assembly/assembly and trouble-shooting aptitude.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- Must be a US Persons as defined by 120.
