Job Description
The Role As our lead SolidWorks and 3D designer , you will work closely with our welders, fabricators, and shop leads to turn rough concepts and engineering specs into detailed, production-ready 3D models and manufacturing blueprints. You will own the design process from the initial sketch to the final cut sheet. Key Responsibilities Create precise 3D models, assemblies, and detailed fabrication drawings using SolidWorks. Design structural steel components, track systems, and hydraulic/mechanical integrations for tracked vehicles and drill machines. Generate accurate cut files (DXF/DWG) for CNC plasma/laser cutting and press brake forming. Provide shop-floor support by interpreting drawings and updating models based on hands-on fabricator feedback. Create Bill of Materials (BOMs) and maintain organized drawing files for production.
