Tow Truck Operator and Yard hand. Looking for someone to operate a non-CDL (Sub 26k GVWR) rollback tow truck w/ a 21ft bed. Bonus points if you do have a CDL and experience operating heavy equipment or towing prior. Prior experience is NOT needed, we can train anyone who's motivated to learn with zero experience! The job will consist of picking up Junk/Abandoned vehicles from job sites within a 50 mile radius of our yards as well as dropping them off at our yards. You will need to interact with clients upon arrival at the job sites and obtain ownership documents for the vehicle(s) along with payments sometimes as well. We will train you on how to properly accept payment and ownership documents. A typical day will be 3-5 Client removal/pickups and 1-5 vehicle sales from our yard to other nearby yards. 6-10 hour days. We are flexible! There will also be times where you will have to rearrange the yard to extract vehicles we are selling. We will often ask you to Transport these vehicles to other yards we are selling to and to hand off ownership documents to buyers. You may also be asked to pull Catalytic converters, Aluminum wheels and Batteries off of cars we plan to scrap. Prior light mechanical experience is helpful but also not necessary. If you wish to make some extra side money, there will be opportunities for extra work on off days and/or later working days depending your experience. This will be a 1099 Contractor agreement, no W2 and no benefits. You will be responsible for your own taxes at the end of the year along with your own benefits if you so choose to have them. You will be required to sign a contractor agreement to be able to start with us as well as pass a basic drug test and background check. This is not a "For Hire" towing operation. We are a Licensed DMV wrecking yard and we remove/Buy and sell Junk/Abandoned vehicles!

Pay:

$20.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 - 48.0 per week
