Located in downtown Buffalo, Perma Tech Inc. is seeking a Sales and Customer Support Specialist. The Role We are seeking a full-time CAD Drafter who will work primarily in SolidWorks to create designs based on customer and business specifications, for assembly in our onsite manufacturing operation. This will involve working in close collaboration with our small team of manufacturing, sales, and other staff to create optimal and functional designs for customers, including the buildout of BOMs for design specifications and needs. In this position, the individual will also have the opportunity, and eventually be expected to, add to product design R D and innovation efforts through creative input into existing and future product designs to improve product performance, material costs, etc. Qualified candidates will have the following: An A.S. or B.S. degree in drafting, design, mechanical engineering, or other related discipline. Previous design experience working in AutoCAD or Solidworks. Minimum 1 year of demonstrated (on the job) experience working in a drafting role, designing products for real world manufacturing/assembly/use.
