Fairport, New York job type: Contract salary: $22.96 - 32.14 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Associates responsibilities: Create detailed 3D CAD models and drawings using Creo for parts, assemblies, and tooling in strict compliance with GD&T (ASME Y14.5) standards.

Design specialized tooling, fixtures, and hardware to optimize grinding, polishing, and metrology operations in precision optics production.

Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles across traditional machining and FDM 3D printing to deliver practical engineering solutions.

Maintain drawing release packages and revision controls, managing models and documentation to ensure strict configuration management.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, machinists, and metrology specialists, to translate concepts into production hardware.
