These attributes are essential for success on the team and should be treated as baseline qualifiers when identifying and advancing candidates for consideration. It's important that the candidate takes the life safety industry seriously, is reliable, and is motivated to learn. We're looking for someone who wants to develop professionally, not just fill a short term CAD seat. Key Qualifications Proficient in AutoCAD 2014 or newer Strong skills with Windows-based software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Excellent organization and attention to detail Experience in the construction industry, preferably: Electrical construction Mechanical construction Low-voltage systems installation Professional industry experience preferred over purely academic or club-based drafting experience High School Diploma or equivalent required Preferred Background Candidates with experience supporting: Fire alarm systems Security systems Access control systems Low-voltage specialty systems Construction drawing preparation and revisions Core Responsibilities Create and revise construction drawings under supervision
