This CAD Engineer opportunity offers a collaborative, three-person team environment and the chance to work on meaningful commercial manufacturing work with strong retention and regular team lunches. Qualifications and responsibilities for this CAD Engineer position include: Experience in a commercial manufacturing environment, woodworking preferred Able to read and understand architectural drawings as the basis for shop drawings Proficiency with AutoCAD, with Microvellum preferred Drafting skills to prepare detailed, organized, properly scaled and annotated drawings Knowledge of architectural millwork raw materials Review job orders and specifications, including architectural drawings and specs, time schedules, field measurements, and materials Create (engineer) shop drawings for client approval and prepare submittal packages Implement changes for field dimensions and change orders, and release fabrication packages once drawings are approved
Salary:
$25-$30/hour
