Full-Time CAD Drafter- Heat Exchanger / Pressure Vessel
- Must-Have Requirements Hands-on CAD drafting experience with Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers Experience creating shop-ready fabrication drawings Working knowledge of ASME Code and TEMA Standards Proficiency using AutoCAD for 2D mechanical drafting Experience supporting manufacturing and shop fabrication environments Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work in a fast-paced engineering and fabrication environment Must be able to comply with all company safety policies Marijuana card holders are not eligible for this safety-sensitive position CAD Drafter•Heat Exchanger / Pressure Vessel•Position Summary Our Engineering Department is urgently seeking a detail-oriented CAD Drafter with experience supporting the fabrication of Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers, Pressure Vessels, or similar industrial equipment.

- Essential Duties & Responsibilities Create detailed 2D fabrication drawings for shell and tube heat exchangers Produce shop-ready drawings to support manufacturing and fabrication teams Complete Code Data Reports for each exchanger Perform basic design work for selected non-code components Finalize tube layout designs including: Tie rods Seal bars Dummy tubes Verify drawings comply with: ASME Code TEMA Standards Customer specifications Internal engineering standards Support shop personnel by resolving drawing and fabrication questions Revise and update drawings as needed throughout production Occasionally enter fabrication areas while wearing required PPE Maintain drafting accuracy, organization, and revision control CAD Drafter•Heat Exchanger / Pressure Vessel•Additional Qualifications High School Diploma required Technical or trade school drafting training strongly preferred College coursework in CAD, engineering, drafting, or mathematics is a plus Experience in pressure vessel, exchanger, or heavy industrial manufacturing preferred Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines Familiarity with fabrication processes and shop workflow preferred Comfortable working in a safety-sensitive industrial environment
