Job Description
Solidworks Fixer and Designer Mobile Dimension Saw Salem, OR Job Details Part-time | Full-time | Contract $30 - $40 an hour 16 hours ago Qualifications Rapid prototyping 3D modeling software 3D modeling for product design Prototype creation Prototypes Digital design Full Job Description We manufacture portable sawmills and need someone proficient in SolidWorks to clean up the BOM. That is task #1. You'll be referencing a mill that we have built to make sure the model is accurate and all the parts and pieces that are there in reality are there in the digital model as well. Once that is done, we have a ton of fun engineering projects that need to be done. IN FACT we want to turn the shop more into a rapid prototype, product engineering shop. We've got big Okuma machines, a fantastically skilled machinist, a delightfully cranky fabricator, and 14,239 brilliant ideas just needing your CAD skills to bring it all to life. Maybe you've got some ideas? Well, bring 'em here. Let's do something with them. But first, we need to clean up a bit of a mess and that's where we need you to make approximately 4 bazillion clicks in SolidWorks. It is a finite project. We are wildly overwhelmed with it though. Job is contract paid 1099. You'll be working at the shop here in Brooks, OR. We make lunch for everybody, every day.
