POSITION SUMMARY

The position is an integral part of the design team assigned to a project. This person will interact daily with Design Team Leader and other internal team members from DED, Manufacturing and Project Management.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Creation of fabrication drawings (Panel Sketches and Tickets) for all manufactured parts (wall panel, metal pan, stone, attachment hardware) that make up our system. Learn to develop and produce shop drawings under the direction of the team leader Collaborate with

personnel to ensure that accurate information is submitted to EEWS Manufacturing and EEWS Sales Units. Participate in Continuous Improvement of EEWS. Collaborate with other EEWS personnel on developing best practices and sharing and utilizing lessons learned. Drawing support for project engineers and sales department. Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM / PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

Associates degree or related drafting experience in Architectural or Structural design.

SKILLS/CERTIFICATIONS

An understanding of AutoCAD is a must. Autodesk Revit is preferred. The ability to read and understand internally developed shop drawings Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Possess strong ability to produce accurate line work. Detail oriented. Strong desire to produce error free work. Must be able to follow verbal and written instruction with minimal supervision. Must have excellent communication skills and be a strong team player.

Pay:

$60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
