Hall Manufacturing Technology LLC is seeking strong candidates to join our growing detailing and engineering team focusing on DOT bridge railings & drainage systems. CAD Draftsman Responsibilities but not limited to:

• Review contract drawings, special provisions and estimates to understand scope of work
• Develop and check erection and detail fabrication drawings
• Adhere to standard drawing detailing practices
• Support the project manager & shop by creating bill of materials, pipe wraps, cut files, etc…
• Maintaining and implementing drawings using SolidWorks PDM
• Working within a shop environment to implement new processes or improve current processes Requirements
• Associate degree in technical drafting or drafting certifications
• Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred
• Ability to read and understand structural steel contract drawings
• Ability to work within a team setting
• Understanding of metal fabrication processes and procedures.
• Strong math & geometry skills
• Strong written communication skills.
• Proficient at 3D modeling (SolidWorks preferred)
• Structural steel shape and sheet metal design experience
