Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled individual to support our aviation engineering and technical operations team. This position will be responsible for creating technical documentation, developing 2D schematics and 3D models, and supporting the design and documentation of aircraft piece parts and repairs. The ideal candidate will have experience with CAD software such as Autodesk Inventor, Fusion, and/or AutoCAD LT, along with hands-on experience with small-scale plastic 3D printing. This role also involves developing technical references and guides for aviation technicians and collaborating with FAA Designated Engineering Representatives, technicians, customers, and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). We are open to considering candidates with varying levels of experience and will evaluate applicants based on their technical skills, attention to detail, ability to learn, and overall fit for the position. Writing technical documents Repair Specifications Equivalency Forms 3D Models Drawing Piece Parts Using Inventor and/or Fusion 2D Schematics Drawing Piece Parts Using AutocadLT 3D Printing Experience Small scale plastic material Technical Reference & Guide for Aviation Technicians Interfacing with professional personnel FAA Designated Engineering Representatives Customers (minimal)
Technicians Original Equipment Manufacturers Experience :
Some experience with technical drawings, CAD, or 3D modeling is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person. Familiarity with Autodesk Inventor, Fusion, and/or AutoCAD LT is a plus. Experience creating or working with technical documents, drawings, or specifications is helpful. Any experience with 3D printing , particularly small plastic parts, is a plus. An interest in aviation, mechanical design, or technical problem-solving is strongly encouraged. Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn new tools and processes . We welcome candidates with different levels of experience . If you have some of the skills listed above but not all of them, we still encourage you to apply.
