We are seeking an experienced CAD Drafter with 4-7 years of experience supporting civil engineering and infrastructure projects, with a strong emphasis on water and sewer systems . The successful candidate will prepare and revise detailed engineering drawings, plans, profiles, sections, and construction documents while working closely with engineers, project managers, and other project team members. Candidates should have strong AutoCAD skills and experience producing drawings for water, sewer, utility, and other civil infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities Prepare and revise detailed CAD drawings for civil, water, and sewer projects . Develop plans, profiles, sections, details, and construction drawings based on engineering designs, sketches, markups, and field information. Prepare drawings for water mains, sanitary sewers, stormwater systems, utility relocations, and related civil infrastructure . Incorporate engineer and client comments into drawings and maintain accurate drawing revisions. Assist with preparation of design and construction document packages . Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and compliance with applicable CAD standards. Coordinate drawings with engineers, project managers, surveyors, and other disciplines. Maintain organized CAD files, drawing sets, references, and project documentation. Assist with preparation and updating of record/as-built drawings . Support project teams throughout design and construction phases as required. Qualifications 4-7 years of CAD drafting experience , preferably in civil engineering, utilities, water, and sewer infrastructure. Proficiency in AutoCAD is required. Experience with Civil 3D is highly preferred. Demonstrated experience preparing civil/site, water, sewer, and utility drawings. Ability to read and interpret engineering plans, specifications, surveys, and construction documents. Knowledge of CAD standards, layering, sheet setup, plotting, external references, and drawing management. Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, high-quality drawings. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with engineers and project teams. Good organizational, communication, and time-management skills. Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent training in CAD, drafting, civil engineering technology, or a related field is preferred.
