to join our innovative design team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings, schematics, and construction documentation that bring architectural and engineering concepts to life. Your expertise in CAD software and building code compliance will ensure that every project meets the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to diverse projects, utilizing advanced 3D modeling and BIM (Building Information Modeling) tools to support seamless project execution from concept through construction. Duties Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, and SolidWorks to illustrate architectural, structural, and mechanical components. Create accurate construction detail documentation that aligns with building codes and industry standards. Utilize 3D modeling software like SketchUp, 3ds Max, Grasshopper 3D, Rhinoceros 3D, and MicroStation to produce realistic visualizations and schematics for client presentations and project approvals. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to interpret design concepts into precise CAD models and drawings. Perform building code analysis to ensure designs are compliant with local regulations and safety standards. Support building information modeling (BIM) processes by integrating data-rich models for efficient project coordination. Assist in drafting engineering CAD designs that optimize construction workflows while maintaining clarity and detail. Qualifications Proven experience in CAD drafting within architecture or engineering environments; familiarity with construction detail documentation is highly desirable. Proficiency in a wide range of CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, SolidWorks, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Grasshopper 3D, Rhinoceros 3D, and Bluebeam. Strong understanding of building codes, construction practices, and building information modeling (BIM) tools. Skilled in 3D CAD modeling and graphic design techniques to produce compelling visualizations. Ability to interpret complex schematics and translate them into accurate technical drawings. Excellent attention to detail combined with strong communication skills for effective collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. Knowledge of construction experience is a plus to better understand project requirements and constraints.
