CAD Operator IV Primary Talent Partners - 4.5 Raleigh, NC Job Details Contract $29 - $31 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Substation design Team leadership High-voltage electrical systems Construction drawing review Design engineering Blueprint creation using CAD software Document quality checks Senior level Electrical drafting Associate's degree 10 years Full Job Description Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a CAD Operator IV with our large power and utilities client in Raleigh, NC. This is a 12-month contract with a potential for extension. This is a hybrid position - 3 days a week in office.
Pay:
$29.00 - $31.00/hr ; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.
Description:
Transforms initial rough product designs using computer aided design (CAD) into working documents. Reviews engineering drawing and designs to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards. May require an associate's degree in a related area and 10+ years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May direct and lead the work of others. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
For additional requirement/preferences:
Experience with MicroStation and AutoCad/AutoDesk is preferred. Experience with design of high voltage substations is preferred. Experience or familiarity with a document management system is preferred. Experience reading/deciphering construction field revisions and incorporating them into CAD drawings is preferred.
