Deck CAD Designer Iron & Cedar is seeking an experienced CAD Designer to create accurate, professional plans and drawings for custom deck projects throughout the Flathead Valley.

Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed deck plans, layouts, elevations, and construction drawings Create permit-ready plan sets that meet local building requirements Incorporate deck framing, stairs, railings, footings, and structural details Revise drawings based on field measurements and project changes Coordinate with our project team to ensure plans reflect the intended design Maintain accurate and organized project files Qualifications Experience with AutoCAD or comparable design software Knowledge of residential construction and deck framing Ability to read site plans, measurements, and architectural drawings Familiarity with building codes and permitting requirements Strong attention to detail and accuracy Experience designing custom decks is strongly preferred This may be a contract, part-time, or project-based position, depending on experience and availability.
