Monday - Friday (Core Business Hours)Note:
100% onsite position. No hybrid or remote work available. Occasional travel up to 10% may be required based on project needs. Contract-to-hire opportunity. Job Summary The Electrical CAD Technician will support engineering and design teams in producing detailed electrical drawing packages for infrastructure projects. This is an entry-level opportunity for a motivated individual interested in building a career in electrical design within a multidisciplinary engineering environment. The role involves transforming engineering concepts into high-quality, construction-ready drawing packages while collaborating closely with engineers, designers, and project managers. Key Responsibilities Create and revise 2D electrical drawings, including: One-line diagrams Wiring diagrams Conduit and cable routing plans Grounding plans Panel layouts Termination diagrams Develop and update instrument location plans, I/O layouts, and loop diagrams for instrumentation projects. Work under the direction of engineers and designers to prepare construction drawing packages in accordance with project standards. Apply drafting standards, CAD layer controls, title blocks, and drawing conventions. Incorporate redline revisions and support as-built drawing updates. Assist with document control activities. Support the creation of plot plans, equipment layouts, and 3D markups as needed. Participate in quality reviews and drawing checks. Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams to support drawing deliverables and project success. Required Qualifications Experience creating and modifying electrical CAD drawings. Understanding of electrical drafting principles and construction documentation. Ability to interpret engineering markups and design concepts. Proficiency with CAD software and drafting standards. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities. Work Environment Onsite position based in Centennial, Colorado. Supports infrastructure-related engineering and design projects. Collaborative environment working alongside engineers, designers, and project managers. Opportunity for long-term employment through contract extension and potential permanent conversion.Pay:
