Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Detailer to join our team. As a Detailer, you will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and designs for various projects. This role requires proficiency in software such as Sketchup, Revit, and SolidWorks, as well as solid drafting and design skills. If you have a passion for interior design, system design, and graphic design, this position may be perfect for you. Pay range for an experienced detailer using SDS2 or Tekla is $60

• 100k/year, depending on experience.

A minimum of 3 years of experience is required. Role Description This is a full-time role as a Steel Detailer at Thorough Built LLC in Chattanooga, TN. The Steel Detailer will create shop drawings and steel detailing based on architectural drawings and steel structures. They will work closely with the design and fabrication teams to ensure accurate and precise steel detailing. Qualifications Experience in creating shop drawings and steel detailing Knowledge of rebar and architectural drawings Familiarity with steel structures Attention to detail and precision Ability to work effectively within a team Experience with steel fabrication and machining is a plus Knowledge of construction materials and processes is beneficial 3-10 years of experience preferred Experienced in Tekla Structures software

Responsibilities:

• Create detailed drawings and designs using software such as SketchUp, Revit, and SolidWorks
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to develop accurate and precise drawings
• Review project specifications and requirements to ensure compliance with design standards
• Prepare schematics, layouts, and construction documents
• Conduct site visits to gather measurements and assess project requirements
• Assist in the development of design concepts and presentations
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects

Skills:

• Strong drafting skills with the ability to create accurate technical drawings
• Knowledge of interior design principles and practices
• Familiarity with system design and understanding of building codes and regulations
