This role is ideal for a design professional who enjoys creating custom home plans, collaborating directly with clients, coordinating permit drawings, and working closely with our construction team from concept through completion. Responsibilities Create and modify residential floor plans and construction drawings using AutoCAD Prepare complete drawing sets for custom residential projects Coordinate plan revisions and updates as needed throughout the design and construction process Ensure plans comply with City of El Paso building codes and residential construction requirements Assist with permit and plan submittals when required Collaborate with project managers, field staff, and clients regarding design changes and construction details Maintain organized project files and drawing documentation Qualifications 3 years of experience in designing and drafting custom residential homes is required Proficient in AutoCAD Experience meeting directly with clients to discuss design concepts and revisions Ability to independently prepare permit-ready construction documents Experience working with custom home builders strongly preferred Strong knowledge of residential floor plan development and construction drawings Familiarity with City of El Paso building codes and permitting is required Understanding of residential construction methods and terminology Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Bilingual (English and Spanish) What We're Looking For Self-motivated and dependable Strong communication and interpersonal skills Professional presentation with excellent customer service Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team Takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work Committed to delivering an exceptional experience for every client Position Details Full-time position Competitive compensation based on experience Long-term opportunity with a growing custom home builder Why Join Our Team?
