PT Adjunct Computer Aided Drafting and Design Midland College | Midland, Texas Job Summary The instructor will teach a combination of Computer-Aided Drafting & Design lecture/lab classes each week along with, developing teaching and testing materials for classes.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Teach courses offered in the Computer-Aided Drafting & Design programs as needed by semester Recommend textbooks and instructional materials Stay current with trends and innovations in the field Maintain student academic records Use LMS (Learning Management System) appropriately for the course Ensure the safe use of equipment in the classrooms and labs including student safety and equipment safety. Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications Associate's degree in Computer-Aided Drafting & Design or related field Minimum of three years of related work experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills Extensive knowledge and experience with CAD software including AutoCAD, Inventor, Civil 3D, Revit, AutoCAD Architecture, 3ds Max, and/or Intergraph CADW orx Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree Teaching experience in a post-secondary setting Autodesk Certified Professional

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Typical office Business Hours M-Th 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. F 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. summer M-Th 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 pm Periodic evening and weekend hours during peak periods (e.g., open enrollment, payroll) Occasional travel (less than 10%) Physical Demands Requires lifting/moving of equipment in excess of 50 pounds Must be able to sit or stand for a long periods of time Use of manual dexterity
