CAD Technician About the Job RTT Finishing Solutions, a division of Clean Air Industries, is a leading manufacturer of engineered finishing systems, trusted across industries for quality, innovation, and reliability. Our success is driven by talented people who take pride in building exceptional products and delivering outstanding customer experiences. Our product line includes paint and powder coating booths, curing ovens, air make-up units, and complete industrial finishing systems. We are looking to add an on-site CAD Technician to our team in Rockwall, Texas. As a CAD Technician , you will use your SolidWorks and drafting skills to transform conceptual designs into detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings for custom industrial finishing equipment. Working alongside our Engineering, Sales, and Manufacturing teams, you'll create accurate production documentation that supports fabrication and assembly while developing your technical knowledge in a collaborative manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Create and modify 3D SolidWorks models, assemblies, and detailed manufacturing drawings. Convert conceptual layouts and engineering direction into accurate production-ready documentation. Maintain drawing accuracy, organization, and revision control throughout the design process. Ensure drawings and models meet company drafting standards and documentation requirements. Incorporate design revisions and maintain project documentation. Communicate effectively with internal teams to support manufacturing and project execution. Continue developing product knowledge and SolidWorks proficiency while learning RTT's products and manufacturing processes. Qualifications Associate degree in Drafting & Design, CAD Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related technical field OR equivalent hands-on experience using SolidWorks. Experience using SolidWorks to create parts, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical information. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
