Job Description

Fibergrate Composite Structures Inc., celebrating 60 years in the industry, is a global manufacturer of fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) products for some of the world's most demanding processing, manufacturing, commercial and institutional markets. Fibergrate manufactures a wide range of FRP products - grating, floor plates, structural shapes, stair treads and covers, handrails and ladders. The Role - Designer/Drafter We are looking for strong and capable people to join our growing team. The Designer/Drafter is a key member of this team whose role is to ensure approval and fabrication drawings are prepared quickly and accurately. This important role provides you with an outstanding opportunity to develop or continue to develop a strong foundation for your future career path. The Responsibilities Prepare and modify approval and shop drawings in conformance with customer requirements using structural FRP components. Organization and time management skills required to complete project requirements on time. SKILL Proficient in AutoCAD 2D with a structural background. 3D modeling is a plus. Ability to read and understand structural and architectural drawings Ability to communicate effectively Understanding of current National Building Code standards as they apply to Fibergrate activities WILLS Take on responsibilities and manage priorities with little guidance Able to effectively contribute in a cross functional team environment Willingness to take on responsibilities and manage priorities with little guidance Take ownership of task and seeing them through to fruition
QUALIFICATIONS
