Job Description

Responsible for detailing material/components from contractor drawings, plans, or blueprints. Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
- Details required material/components using AutoCAD or other method. Prepares layouts according to specifications.
- Interacts with customers to review plans to determine scope and other requirements of the job.
- Back-logs reconciliation pertaining to finished material/components and ordered amounts.
- Reviews drawings and supporting documentation to verify adherence to standard practices. Copies, prints, and distributes finished detail plans to customers.
- Assists with maintaining and updating project status in the project management system of record.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Certificate of completion in drafting, industrial drafting/design, or construction from a technical school and/or college/university.
- Work experience in construction, manufacturing, fabrication or drafting.
- Engineering background preferred.
