Job Description
CAD Operator The CAD Operator operates the CAD system and produces clear and technically accurate drawings based on design specifications. Essential Functions Work with CAD systems creating, modifying, and releasing drawings Work from drawings, sketches or scanned images, customer drawings or specifications Use the accepted drawing standards as guidelines Self-check own work for completeness, accuracy, compliance to standards Manage controlled drawings within VSP folders Work closely with other departments to ensure that the drawings convey the correct information Support other departments for continuous improvement and development of processes and products Provide technical support to include trouble shooting, repairs and upgrades for production equipment Working closely with internal and external IT support as well as equipment manufacturers Provide support to the production team as needed Must have in depth training and knowledge of all production processes and equipment function Partner with the sales team and other departments to meet and exceed customer's service expectations Maintain a favorable working relationship with all company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate that will be conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity, and efficiency/effectiveness Project a favorable image of the company to promote, foster, and enhance public recognition of the company and its products and services Adheres to all company Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures as outlined in the VSP Health & Safety Manual. Job Type:
Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.Benefits:
