Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Fire Sprinkler Designer specializing in Auto SPRINK systems to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise and comprehensive fire sprinkler system designs using advanced CAD and BIM tools. Your expertise will ensure that fire protection systems are efficiently planned, accurately documented, and compliant with industry standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in mechanical drafting, 3D modeling, and construction documentation, contributing to the safety and integrity of building projects across diverse sectors. Responsibilities Develop detailed fire sprinkler system layouts utilizing CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and MicroStation, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety codes. Create accurate schematics, piping diagrams, and construction drawings for fire suppression systems using Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools. Integrate civil design elements with fire sprinkler layouts by collaborating with civil engineers and utilizing Civil 3D or NavisWorks for coordination. Produce precise CAD documentation, including schematics and mechanical detailing, supporting fabrication and installation processes. Apply mechanical design principles to optimize system performance while maintaining compliance with industry standards and local regulations. Coordinate with project teams to review design concepts, resolve conflicts, and incorporate client feedback effectively. Assist in developing 3D CAD models for complex sprinkler configurations using SolidWorks or similar platforms. Ensure all drawings are properly annotated, labeled, and organized for clarity during construction phases. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of fire protection codes, BIM advancements, and CAD drafting techniques to enhance design quality. Support project management by providing detailed technical drawings that facilitate smooth project execution from conception through completion. Skills Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, SketchUp, NavisWorks, and Civil 3D for comprehensive system modeling and documentation. Strong experience with Mechanical drafting, CAD detailing, and engineering CAD design specific to fire suppression systems. Expertise in 3D CAD modeling and Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools to create integrated project models. Knowledge of schematics development, CAD documentation standards, and construction drawing practices. Familiarity with fire sprinkler system components, piping layouts, and mechanical design principles relevant to fire protection engineering. Experience working on construction projects involving fire suppression systems with a focus on accuracy and compliance. Ability to interpret architectural plans, structural drawings, and civil layouts to develop coordinated designs. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, contractors, and clients.
