ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking a Mechanical Designer for a manufacturing and equipment fabrication company which would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in 2D/3D CAD modeling and detailed drawing production looking to further their career in mechanical design and manufacturing. A background in manufacturing environments is essential, and hands-on familiarity with process piping, structural steel, bases, or sheet metal fabrication is a strong plus. Create detailed 2D/3D CAD models, shop drawings, and fabrication documents per

ASME/ANSI

standards Coordinate with engineers and manufacturing teams to ensure efficient execution and quality design standards Prepare fabrication drawings, part numbers, and bills of materials Support new product design and continuous improvement initiatives

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

Mechanical design experience in manufacturing and fabrication Experience with piping design, machine design, sheet metal design or larger fabrication systems design Proficiency in AutoCAD and

SOLIDWORKS

standards and manufacturing processes (sheet metal, machining, casting) Associate degree from a technical school or equivalent professional certification
